To commence from Easter or September 2020 we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Attitudes), with the skills, expertise and passion to enthuse our young people to achieve across KS3 and KS4.
Essential educational requirements
Significant experience and proven track record of success in school Leadership in a secondary context.
Experience of pastoral leadership.
Proven record of raising achievement and delivering improvement.
Experience of effective staff development
Experience of the successful implementation of quality assurance processes.
Track record of ensuring strong safeguarding practice.
Evidence of working with members of the wider community for the benefit of the school.
Experience in at least two secondary schools
Honours degree and teaching qualification
Qualified Teacher Status
Recent and relevant professional development at Leadership level
Essential skills and experience
Good understanding of current education legislation, priorities and trends.
Evidence of leading school initiatives and evaluating their impact.
Evidence of ability to develop excellent relationships with young people.
Evidence of outstanding teaching to students with a range of abilities and attitudes.
Experience of the analysis and interpretation of data and target setting
Evidence of an emotionally intelligent approach to work with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of the requirements needed to achieve outstanding student progress and personal development.
Good understanding of leadership skills and practical examples of their application.
