ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER/KEY STAGE TWO & LITERACY CO-ORDINATOR
Required from 5th January 2023
We are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher to work in Key Stage Two as a Year 6 teacher. This exciting post will also have responsibilities as Key Stage Two Co-ordinator and Literacy Co-ordinator. This successful candidate will join the Senior Leadership Team of the school, leading and managing the further development of an already fantastic school.
We have very high expectations of our pupils’ achievement, work together on developing the curriculum and value the support of parents and the local community.
We would like to appoint a great teacher who loves working with children in an urban school.
We are looking for someone who:
- is an outstanding Year 6 teacher
- has experience of managing a team of hard-working, dedicated staff
- has a passion for literacy and is ready to take on the development of literacy across the school
- is creative in their approach to teaching and delivering the curriculum
- has high expectations of the children
- can work well as part of a team
- is enthusiastic, energetic and committed to making learning exciting
- has experience and knowledge of outside education and learning outside the classroom
