- Band F points 12 – 17 Actual Salary £21,575 - £23,644 pa. (FTE £24,496 - £26,845 pa) – pay award pending (plus an additional 1 week of pay if the appointee has 5 years or more continuous service with a Local Authority)
What skills and experience we're looking for
- Able to work alongside the SENDCo, the Vice Principal, SEND and
the Assistant Inclusion Manager, SEND, to plan and deliver innovative and
appropriate learning activities in English, Mathematics, Literacy and Numeracy.

Knowledge of SEN code
of practice and Statutory Frameworks relating to SEN.
- Be committed to promoting positive values, attitudes and behaviour.
- Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders through leading regular review meetings, correspondence and written reports.
- Able to advance students’ learning in a range of classroom
settings.
- Ability to contribute effectively to the planning and preparation of lessons.
- Ability to monitor
student’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and students, whilst
maintaining and analysing accurate records.

An understanding of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
Training in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy and/or particular curriculum or learning area such as bilingual, sign language, dyslexia, ICT, maths, English, etc.
Previous training on the relevant learning strategies, e.g. literacy, ASD, ADHD etc.

to plan and prepare lessons.

independently and as part of a team.
