We are seeking to appoint an energetic and highly qualified Assistant Lead Teacher for Mathematics who in an innovative practitioner with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils from a variety of backgrounds. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking for the next step in their career or an already established Assistant Lead Teacher for Mathematics. The successful candidate will have a successful track record relevant to their stage in their career and be committed to supporting the Lead Teacher for Mathematics in all aspects of running a successful Mathematics department.
In addition to being a successful Teacher of Mathematics, the role would also involve coordination of Mathematics at Key Stage 3 including planning overseeing KS3 intervention groups, keeping departmental documents and schemes of work up to date, supporting students with the transition between KS2 and KS3 Mathematics including the building of relationships with feeder/Trust schools, responsibility for student voice across the department and supporting with cover arrangements where required.
