Assistant Network Manager – Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks

Outwood Academy Valley has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Network Manager, managing and developing a team of ICT technicians to provide support across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will join a growing and dynamic team of technicians and other ICT professionals supporting the delivery of world class ICT solutions.

You will have responsibility for working across two or more academies within Outwood Grange Academies Trust, providing a technical lead and assisting the Network Manager ensuring the effective, efficient support and deployment of ICT related equipment and resources and to provide a robust and efficient service.

As an Assistant Network Manager you will be leading, managing and developing the teams of ICT technicians working within the academies you are deployed to work across. You will need to ensure that ICT services and equipment are deployed in line with the Trust’s policies and vision for ICT.

The successful candidate must have experience of installation and management of Windows Servers, Group Policy creation and management (including loopback) and also be able to demonstrate they have experience in network setup and management of firewalls, VLANs, routing and link aggregation.

As you will be required to work across and support in Outwood Academy Valley, Outwood Academy Portland, Outwood Post 16 Centre Worksop and Outwood Academy Kirkby, driving is essential.

You must have Grade C or above in English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification. A degree or other relevant qualification would be desirable.
