We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our leadership team as Assistant Principal.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated leader to make a significant impact on our school community. As Assistant Principal, you will have the responsibility for either the development of teaching and learning, or the management of behaviour and attendance. You will play a crucial role in school leadership, actively participating in all areas of school improvement and strategic discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop strategies to enhance either teaching and learning or behaviour and attendance across the school.
* Participate actively in school leadership, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.
* Model exemplary leadership qualities and behaviours, setting high standards for staff and students.
* Work collaboratively with the leadership team and wider school community to drive school improvement.
* Demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
* Foster a supportive and positive school culture, promoting the well-being and success of all students.
* Engage with staff, students, and parents to build strong relationships and ensure a cohesive school community.

Bexleyheath Academy is proud to be a non-selective school in the grammar heartland of Kent. Bexleyheath Academy is quickly approaching capacity with students; in order to accommodate the demands of the local community and grow our skilled staff, we must expand.

With immediate train access to Central London and easy access to the Kent countryside, Bexleyheath has the best of both worlds. Despite having a Kent postcode, Bexleyheath is classified as Greater London due to its strategic location between Welling, Sidcup, and Bexley village. You can reach Dartford for the river crossing with a short drive along the A2.

Its thriving hub is The Broadway - a shopping district with added appeal in the shape of a bowling alley, cinema and a growing number of restaurants. A little beyond Bexleyheath and you're at Bluewater, Ashford for the designer outlet and international rail travel to Europe.

Should you wish to visit us in person then our doors are open to you at any time on any day.
