Wayland Academy
We are a community school dedicated to always striving ahead and innovating, to make sure that every child entrusted to us is equipped not only for the careers of today, but also those that don’t exist yet.
Our vision is to improve student achievement, develop character, create an academic culture and raise aspirations. We guarantee that we will do whatever it takes to make sure that every student, irrespective of their starting point, receives an excellent education.
I’m proud to lead a school at the heart of its community. Our students, families, teaching teams, support staff and wider community are united by their shared aim – to create a brighter future for Watton, the surrounding villages and those that call them home.
Every day the academy is a rewarding and exhilarating place to lead. Working with students through their time at our academy is a great privilege. Our students in turn inspire others to greater success in the future.
We have high expectations, and just as there are no shortcuts, there are no excuses. Our children give 100% and work their hardest. We're proud to support them.
