Dawlish College is a vibrant and rewarding place to work where the students are a genuine pleasure to teach and colleagues soon become friends. The college is a Group 5
academy and is the only secondary school in the town. It serves a catchment area with a ten mile radius. There are currently 563 students on roll of whom approximately a third travel in daily from outlying villages. The college is situated in an eight-acre site in the town of Dawlish within easy reach of the train station and major bus routes. There are extensive facilities including specialist rooms for most subjects and a range of facilities for physical education on site as well as joint use of Teignbridge District Council’s all weather pitch and Leisure Centre.
