Assistant Principal: Head of Sixth Form job summary
A unique opportunity has arisen to appoint a dynamic and innovative Head of Sixth Form to manage and develop all aspects of the Sixth Form at Colchester County High School for Girls. There is also the potential for additional Senior Leadership Team responsibilities dependent upon the experience of a suitable candidate.
The post holder will be accountable for the strategic direction, leadership and management of the Sixth Form including recruitment and retention of Sixth Form students, marketing of the Sixth Form, academic monitoring of student progress and achievement, and the transition and progression from GCSE to A Level qualifications and future pathways. They will lead, develop and enhance the pastoral provision within the Sixth Form so that students are confident, resilient and prepared both for learning and life skills.

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust.
