We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Assistant Principal to join our school. This post represents an exciting opportunity as we seek to appoint an outstanding teacher of Mathematics; able to lead the Mathematics Department to produce the highest level of performance across the full age and ability range 11-16. The successful candidate should be an experienced and enthusiastic leader with effective strategies to raise academic achievement, and improve and enhance teaching and learning in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will lead the work of the school to improve student progress further, in all subjects and year groups, working closely with Heads of Department and Senior Leaders. The postholder will line manage directly five members of teaching staff who are the Heads of Year Progress Leads for each year group.
If you can inspire, encourage, achieve, enjoy working with young people and are determined to make a real difference to the children you teach then you could be the kind of leader we are looking for.
Our recent Ofsted inspection (January 2022) highlighted many strengths in our school with a clear focus for further improvement. We are oversubscribed and also benefitting from a Primary school, that is part of our Multi Academy Trust, locating on our site from June 2022. This is a very exciting time to join our school as we continue our journey to become an outstanding school.
