At Lindfield Primary Academy we are seeking to appoint a full time Assistant Principal who is a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher and leader to play a pivotal role in the academy’s ongoing success. We are looking for a creative and forward thinking candidate to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience and be able to contribute effectively in realising the vision and ambitions for our popular Academy.
The Assistant Head will hold the role of SENCo and Deputy DSL, supporting the Lead DSL in being accountable for Safeguarding policy and processes within the Academy, and will perform all duties as SENCo and Inclusion Manager in the Academy, to include but not limited to, overseeing and monitoring of interventions for SEND and management of the intervention programme. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will share accountability for the effective operation and overall performance of our Academy, and have line management responsibility for a team of teaching assistants. Prospective candidates will hold the National Award in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination or have a willingness to achieve this qualification whilst working in the role at Lindfield Primary.
