Assistant Principal (Inclusion) job summary

The Role

You will be working with the Principal and Executive Team to provide leadership for the academy which secures its successes and continuous improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and the highest standards of learning and achievement in accordance with Trust requirements.

As an Assistant Principal (Inclusion), you will be working as a strategic DSL, updating staff on policies and procedures via training and development. You will also be working closely with the SSB & Astrea Central Team to create, implement and monitor practise and safeguarding actions, to ensure an outstanding provision

The successful candidate will be a leader who is passionate about the development of people and is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence for every scholar, regardless of their background.

You will have experience of working as a DSL and managing specialist staff (including SENCo staff), including performance management and mentoring. Importantly, you will be empathetic and resilient in the face of challenges.
