Assistant Principal - Inclusion (SENCO) job summary

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Assistance Principal – Inclusion (SENCO) to join our successful and expanding school.

Reading Girls’ School is a dynamic and welcoming community, serving the educational needs of girls from the ages of 11 to 16 from a diverse local community. Standards and progress are high, and it is performing at the ‘top 1% of all schools nationally’ (Department of Education, November 2019).

The successful candidate will be able to
• Proven experience and knowledge in leading inclusion across the
whole school
• To have responsibility for Special Educational Needs and EAL students leading whole school initiatives
• To demonstrate experience of alternative education provision
• To manage Child Protection and Safeguarding

In addition, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the school and Trust vision and values as determined by The Thames Learning Trust.
