This exciting opportunity has become available to join UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park opened in September 2016 and provides a new and dynamic education. It opened within The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust, which has a wealth of experience with two UTCs in Sheffield both graded Ofsted Good along with UTC Derby Pride Park who joined the Trust in 2019 which is yet to be inspected.
UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park specialises in Health & Life Science, Sport Science and Computing and has strong support from the Sheffield Hallam University, University of Sheffield, Sheffield College, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (NHS) along with a range of regional and national employers. The UTC is situated on the Olympic Legacy Park which includes The Advanced Well-being Research Centre, English Institute of Sport and the Community Stadium.

Due to the success of the UTC, we are looking to increase our senior team to appoint an additional Assistant Principal for our Olympic Legacy Park site who will work with the Principal and Senior Leaders on the Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic leadership. The successful candidate will lead the areas of Inclusion and Safeguarding including being the UTC SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13-19 year olds in an employer led technology rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success.

UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is a University Technical College which opened in September 2016 on the Olympic Legacy Park site in north-east Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The UTC is sponsored by The Sheffield College and Sheffield Hallam University, who also sponsor the UTC Sheffield which opened in 2013, Specialising in Computing, Health Sciences and Sport Science. Students can join in Y9 or Y12 to study a combination of GCSEs/A Levels and a technical specialism.
