Permanent position

To provide dynamic, consistent and motivational leadership for the key stage, setting high aspirations, promoting a can-do culture and ensuring effective prioritisation.

To maximise the progress and attainment for pupils using data and relevant teaching and learning strategies.

To work with the VP to ensure the curriculum offer at key stage 4 is relevant, appropriate and effective

Our students range from age 11 to 18, including students in our well-respected and ‘Good’ Sixth Form.

There are ample opportunities to develop extra-curricular activities and interests at King Edward VII Academy where we take a holistic view of education.

Skills & Experience
Experience at middle leadership as a Head of Department or similar role is essential

Strong leadership and management skills are essential
