Assistant Principal - Literacy, Oracy, Standards job summary
We are on a significant growth trajectory and are now seeking a senior leader with a proven record of raising attainment and smashing targets out of the park, developing strong teams and having significant whole school impact, to join our leadership team. To be a senior leader at our academy, you must have a sense of humour, excellent subject knowledge and be ambitious for our students to succeed at every level of their life.
You will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated to achieve outstanding outcomes for our young people.
You will join an academy that is committed to allowing teachers to teach in a disruption free learning environment and with the full support of an academy leadership team committed to the professional development of all our staff members. You will use your motivation to lead a team of highly skilled practitioners with a range of experiences and expertise, all committed to the education of our students. We consider our English team to be the ‘best in Portsmouth’ and we are confident you will enjoy leading this amazing group.

The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Academy sponsor and English subject advisor across the South.
