We are seeking to appoint a talented, dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Principal for our exceptional school. We are looking for an experienced leader who is an exceptional practitioner with a proven track record of securing excellent, personalised, outcomes for pupils. The successful candidate will have the highest standards of themselves and display an authenticity that builds trust and maintains excellent relationships with others. The unique nature of working at Mary Rose Academy means the successful candidate will need to be highly flexible and will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!

As part of Solent Academies Trust, Mary Rose Academy, is an ‘Outstanding Specialist Sports College’ for pupils aged 2-19 years, with severe, complex and profound learning difficulties and additional needs, including pupils with profound Autism, physical disabilities and complex medical needs

We are a special school for 181 pupils aged 2-19 years, situated across three sites in Portsmouth. We provide a highly specialist, personalised curriculum for young people with the most profound, severe and complex learning difficulties. In addition, the majority of pupils have co-occurring needs including: Autism Spectrum Condition, severe physical disabilities and highly complex medical conditions.
