This is a unique opportunity to lead a large maths department in a rapidly improving school and join a Senior Leadership Team who are hardworking, committed and truly believe in the success of their pupils. Alongside the support of an exceptional team, you will have the resources necessary to bring about real change and impact the lives of your students. Leading a team of teachers, including a middle leader for KS3, you will have the support and experience you need to develop the maths department and improve outcomes for our students.

As part of the Ark network, you will have access to high quality training and development, and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the regions. To help you gain experience in all aspects of school leadership and prepare for future career development, alongside your responsibility in leading the maths department, the exact role and specific responsibilities of the Assistant Principal will be agreed annually in discussion with you.

Ark Alexandra is a two-campus secondary academy with a Sixth Form provision in Hastings, East Sussex and is the largest secondary with 6th form in the Ark network.
