As a result of a promotion, Ormiston Denes Academy is seeking a talented, tenacious, and experienced leader to join its Senior Leadership Team, focusing on the strategic planning and implementation of a curriculum that is ambitious and inclusive for all. They will be driven to make a significant difference to the lives of young people through an engaging and effective education which ensures high outcomes.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record, passionate about improving first quality teaching and developing learning behaviours in young people so that all develop the knowledge, skills, and character to be successful.

We would also be interested in hearing from experienced leaders with the talent to lead other areas of whole school improvement.

We are looking for a leader:

  • To lead learning and teaching to raise whole academy outcomes.
  • To develop middle leaders to enable effective curriculum implementation at subject level.
  • To keep up to date with national and local curriculum revisions to ensure that the individual curriculum offer for every student is appropriate for their needs.
  • To ensure effective assessment is a part of the curriculum.
  • To play an integral part of a leadership team that will drive whole academy improvement.
  • With a track record of success.
  • Who will use their initiative, lead by example and be focused on actions and impact.
