Assistant Principal with responsibility for Key Stage 2 job summary
Kingston Park Academy are looking to appoint an inspirational and innovative Assistant Principal with the drive and enthusiasm to join with the Head in leading our Academy towards outstanding. The role will begin in January 2020 (or sooner by negotiation).
Kingston Park is a single form entry primary school catering for pupils from 3 – 11 years. Situated in a small village, the school is friendly and welcoming and takes pride in its role at the heart of the community. Our children are curious about the world and their place in it and we at Kingston Park endeavour to make their creativity and enthusiasm for learning the key driver behind our evolving curriculum model. All our staff are passionate about providing the best education for every child in our community and in achieving our mission: to prepare all our pupils for success in an ever changing world.
It is an exciting time to be joining Kingston Park Academy. Judged a solid Good at its last inspection, we have continued to develop, creating a culture of professional learning and reflection leading to personal growth and improved outcomes for children. All our leaders have embraced the opportunities presented to them through our membership of Delta Academies Trust, benefitting from the collaboration which comes alongside working within a network of outward looking professionals. As a result, progress for Kingston Park last year was well above national average at the end of Key stage 2.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and driven leader who will have a proven track record of delivering results within their own classroom and developing and implementing new initiatives either within a phase or whole school. As Assistant Principal you will play a key role in developing the curriculum and strengthening teaching and learning, ensuring that our children experience outstanding teaching in every classroom.
