What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to changes to the leadership structure at the academy, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Principal to support the Principal in leading our committed team at the West Park Academy as part of the collaboration of schools within our Trust.
The West Park Academy is a medium sized primary school close to the centre of Kirkby with an excellent track record of pupil achievement. The successful candidate will have a record of effective leadership, which under the direction of the Principal will enable them to take a major role in:
Ø Supporting the Principal in ensuring all pupils experience teaching and learning that is consistently good or better across the school
Ø Supporting the Principal with the development and implementation of strategic plans
Ø Supporting the Principal in monitoring progress to secure strategic objectives
Ø Being effective in the role of SENDCo by ensuring the best possible outcomes for children with additional needs
