Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust, comprising of eight schools, six primary schools and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Assistant SENCo to join the team at Carleton High School. The candidate will be expected to provide efficient administration for the SEN department, and work alongside the SENCo in establishing best practice for inclusion across the school. They will be responsible for developing relationships with parents, the local authority and other multi-agencies that positively support SEN students and the role of the SENCo.

This post is a 37 hours per week, term time plus five, permanent contract, equating to 195 working days per annum.
