ASSISTANT SENCO job summary

We are looking to appoint a teacher to take on our newly-created role of Assistant SENCO to join our expanding Inclusion Team.

The role involves supporting our Deputy Head for Inclusion with the SENCO role as well as teaching groups of children with SEN children to help them to make progress across the curriculum.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a minimum of three years experience who has a passion for teaching children with SEN and a relentless desire to ensure that all children make excellent progress.

Excellent training will be provided and the successful candidate will be supported to complete their SENCO training. This would be a good role for an aspiring SENCO.

You will be:
• Patient, hardworking, caring , friendly, supportive and energetic
• A dynamic thinker who can look ahead and anticipate, adapting to circumstances accordingly
• Experienced in a Primary School or Early Years setting
• Willing to be creative and flexible
