Assistant SENCO/Teacher job summary
We are seeking a highly effective practitioner, with a passion for ensuring the best possible provision for SEND pupils, to work closely with our SENCO in further developing and managing our highly valued and growing SEND provision.
The overarching purpose of this role is to promote high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, flexible, well organised and able to work as part of a team as well as having the ability to work independently using self-motivated initiative. This role offers challenge and reward in equal measure and is ideal for candidates with QTS who are keen to progress within the SEN remit.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our thriving and effective Inclusion Department. The role will include working closely with the SENCO to lead and manage SEND provision, coordinating a team of HLTAs and Teaching Assistants, delivering one-to-one and/or small group interventions alongside some whole class teaching (subject/s to be agreed).
The successful candidate will join a committed team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning across the whole ability range.
