What skills and experience we're looking for

We are currently seeking a Assistant SENDCO & Specialist Provision Leader to join our dedicated team and assist in leading the provision of special educational needs and learning support. The Assistant SENCO supports high quality learning, teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of achievement and progress for all students at Wollaston School, with primary responsibility for our small specialist unit.

The provision caters for a maximum of 12 students across the secondary age range and is specifically for children with additional communication and interaction needs. This includes provision for students who have conditions on the autism spectrum.

Our provision is designed to support students who would benefit from the facilities and resources of a mainstream secondary school, alongside providing specialist accommodation, educational and pastoral support.
