Assistant SENDCO job summary

We welcome, as part of our team, a self-motivated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for promoting a fully inclusive school. the applicant will have proven experience of effective provision for SEND within their own practice.

The role is ideal for an aspiring SENDCO seeking further experience in an inclusive setting. This is a fixed term role to cover for maternity from February 2025 for up to 12 months.

The successful candidate will lead teaching, learning and assessment in The Treehouse, our resourced provision which caters for up to 14 children with complex speech, communication and language needs. You will lead two members of staff within the provision and will work closely alongside the Deputy Headteacher/SENDCO.
