We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

The Crestwood School wish to appoint a full time Assistant SENDCo to join our successful school. This position is suitable for a qualified teacher although it is not essential.

We welcome applications from colleagues with/without the national SEND qualification.

The successful candidate will work with a large team of Teaching Assistants to coordinate provision, ensure all students with SEND make good progress and support in the leadership of all aspects of the department.

We are very much a teamat Crestwood; our colleagues work extremely hard to help each student to achieve their potential and they also support each other.

We were very recently inspected by Ofsted in March 2023 and it was noted that SEND is a 'particular strength of the school'.

There is a link SEND governor who is an experienced in this field. We are an oversubscribed school and have, on average, 210 pupils in each year group.

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.
