Assistant Site Manager [Caretaker] job summary
Faringdon Community College are looking for an Assistant Site Manager [Caretaker] to take pride in establishing a learning environment that is safe, attractive and inviting.
The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the security, compliance, day to day running, and repairs / maintenance of the fabric and grounds of the schools.
The role is both ‘hands on’ and physical and requires a good understanding of health and safety issues. The successful candidate will have a broad range of demonstrable repairs, maintenance and caretaking skills, in addition to good computer literacy.
The role requires effective communication with a range of people including children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors. The successful candidate will be approachable, well-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative with a practical and proactive approach.
