Assistant Site Manager – Rainham Mark Grammar School

Salary: NJC Scale Grade D2 Point 4 – 11 £23,114 - £25,979

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (all year round)

Required: ASAP

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager at Rainham Mark Grammar School. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar role and be responsible for effective and efficient site maintenance, cleanliness, health and safety and security, working under the direction of the Premises Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the line manager in ensuring that the school site/s and grounds including extended school facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition
  • Assisting in the co-ordination of health and safety ensuring that statutory regulations and compliance are followed and adhered to throughout the school
  • Assisting in co-ordinating and undertaking such tasks as may be necessary for effective site management, including various porterage, administrative and lettings duties
  • Supporting and contributing to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
