What skills and experience we're looking for

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical and decorating tasks.
  • Upkeep of external grounds to include mowing, strimming and pruning.
  • Carry out Health and Safety inspections to ensure the Academy buildings meet legislative requirements and are safe for building users.
  • Responsible for own safety by developing and following Risk Assessments, COSHH and other Health and Safety Guidance appertaining the role.
  • Set up and set down arrangements for activities, functions and events.
  • Responsible for waste management
  • Undertake driving of the Academies Minibuses – appointed person must hold a full, clean driving licence with a D1 entitlement.
