Assistant Subject Leader Science Plantsbrook School, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands

Job description

TPR + TLR2B £4531

We are looking for a committed and inspirational Assistant Subject Leader for Science who will relish the opportunity to drive curriculum planning, support the tracking of data and interventions and the development of teaching and learning in the department.

Are you passionate about Science, teaching, and learning? You will have strong subject knowledge, together with an enthusiasm for team work and collaboration. The ability to teach A Level Physics would be an advantage.

Do you want to teach Science in a school where our core purpose is learning and teaching? We are looking to appoint a dedicated, ambitious teacher who can enthuse, motivate and empower children, to help them make the best progress possible. This is central to everything that we do. At all times we aspire to our motto ‘be the best that you can be’.

We have a new state-of-the-art building and this has given us a fresh boost, in an environment that is truly fit-for-purpose. We have above average progress scores at both GCSE and A Level in 2018. This is both a challenging and exciting time to be working at Plantsbrook School.
