We are looking to appoint a dynamic and effective Senior Leader with a proven track record in significantly raising student attainment whilst also demonstrating outstanding impact and leadership. The successful candidate will join an ambitious Senior Leadership Team that is focused on the continued development of our ethos whilst driving up standards of teaching, behaviour and outcomes. If you are interested in stepping into this leadership role, which will help shape the future of All Saints’ Academy, we would like to hear from you.

The precise role will depend on the successful candidate’s skill set in alignment with the team more broadly. Each member of the senior has a specific portfolio which includes line managing and overseeing areas of Academy life. Beyond this, the whole senior team are expected to contribute and support teaching, behaviour and outcomes.

Teaching and behaviour in particular have been focuses for us this year, with our recent Ofsted inspection (December 2024) recognising that we have begun work in both areas. We have moved quickly in recent times to improve behaviour and teaching across the academy, but this work will continue into the next academic year.

You will be a leader with aspirations to become a future Vice Principal or Principal and All Saints’ Academy will be committed to supporting the successful candidate in achieving this aim.

Sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester, we are an Academy serving at the heart of our local community. All Saints’ Academy has a Life Vision, ‘Where every member of our extended family realises their God-given potential, inspired by John 10:10. Jesus said 'I have come so you may have life in all its fullness’.

We are an inclusive Church Academy that welcomes applications from all denominations and those of none.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 recommendations. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.

To apply for this role please complete an online application form, the link can be found on the Academy website www.asachelt.org. If you have any questions regarding this role or wish to visit the Academy please contact the HR Department at hr@asachelt.org
