Job description

Main purpose of the role is to support the Vice Principal in behaviour, attitude and safeguarding, to review and implement behaviour for learning policies and procedures in school.

Have personal authority, communication and organisational skills to lead and manage effectively and with impact

You need to be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a clear vision and understanding of the needs of young people in a secondary school environment.

Essential skills and experience

Extensive experience as a Middle Leader
Experience of timetabling at department level
Experience of leading a whole school development
Ability to use comparative data to establish benchmarks, target resources and raise achievement
Experience of monitoring and evaluation, including school self evaluation, to develop practice and raise standards
Knowledge of curriculum design and experience as a budget holder
