Main purpose of the role is to support the Vice Principal in teaching, learning and curriculum. To be committed to raising standards, expectations, achievement and understand the importance of meeting the OfSTED criteria for an outstanding, quality education for all.
Must work collaboratively with colleagues to impact on the development of teaching and learning to ensure standards are further raised.
Have personal authority, communication and organisational skills to lead and manage effectively and with impact
You need to be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a clear vision and understanding of the needs of young people in a secondary school environment.

Knowledge of curriculum design and experience as a budget holder
Experience of monitoring and evaluation, including school self evaluation, to develop practice and raise standards
