Associate Assistant Headteacher, Leader of All-through maths job summary
Main Text Required for January 2022. We are looking to appoint an Associate Assistant Headteacher leading on All-Through maths across our outstanding and highly aspirational maths departments across primary and secondary. Joining our leadership team at SKS will expose the right candidate to challenging and invigorating professional development in an Outstanding school. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate as our first cohort of Year 6 begin their transition to Year 7 for September 2022 and this position follows the decision of our current committed and successful Leader to retire at the end of this academic year. You will need to be an enthusiastic, dynamic professional with a proven and successful track record of teaching Key Stage 3-5, driving change, leading other professionals, including collaborating in local maths hubs and ensuring that the best possible outcomes are achieved for all learners. Knowledge and experience of primary maths is desirable.
Maths is a popular and successful subject and our examination results are outstanding, reflecting the department’s commitment to high quality learning and teaching; our vision is to create the Mathematicians of tomorrow.
