Associate Director of Reading - Primaries job summary
Outwood Grange Academies Trust is a high performing chain of primary and secondary academies in the North of England. Our core belief is that children come first, and that every child, irrespective of their background has the right to an outstanding education.
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring developing leader to be our Associate Director of Reading. The successful candidate will have real vision and passion – and the drive and determination to make things happen. You will be part of the leadership team working across all of the Primary Academies within the Trust, developing the quality of Reading practice and performance whilst developing your own leadership skills and the skills of our current practitioners. We are delighted that one of our academies has been designated as one of only 32 English Hubs in the country. Our Associate Director of Reading will also act as the subject lead for the hub. This is an exciting opportunity to work with schools within and beyond the multi academy trust. You will be at the forefront of a new national initiative, working directly with external partners to ensure the success of the hub.

The academies are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicants will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
