About Oldham Sixth Form College

The Pinnacle Learning Trust was established in 2017, to build upon the excellent work of the founding colleges and their shared belief that young people in Oldham and the local area should have access to excellent educational provision. Working within and beyond the Trust (via our Professional Development offer and designation as an Associate Research School and EdTech Demonstrator) the Trust aims to provide support and drive improvement in all phases of education. Currently comprising three academies, a primary, a secondary and a sixth form college, the Trust has aspirations to grow, through a carefully managed approach to growth.

Oldham Sixth Form College is a large and diverse sixth form college specialising in Advanced Level courses. We have an excellent reputation for academic and vocational achievement, comprehensive pastoral care and extensive enrichment. We offer the widest choice of A Levels in the area and were the first college in Greater Manchester to offer T Levels alongside our broad Applied General and blended programmes. Our mission is focused on providing an inclusive, broad, high quality education for students in the local area and this is achieved through a core focus on teaching and learning.

OSFC was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016, receiving a glowing report and is currently self-assessing as ‘Outstanding’. Our outcomes continue to be very strong and we are proud of the year on year successes and achievements of our students and staff.

Join us and you will become part of a high quality, forward thinking educational establishment committed to meeting the needs of the community it serves.
