Attendance & Admin Officer job summary
Part time position at 20 hours per week, term time + 1 week (staff training days) and 3 additional admin days to be agreed annually.
Bewick Bridge Primary School is a friendly and welcoming community school in the village of Cherry Hinton, on the outskirts of Cambridge. We currently provide education for 221 children aged 2 - 11 years.
Following a successful Ofsted inspection in December 2021, our school is rated ‘Good’ in all areas. It is an exciting time to join our team! In order to support the smooth operation of our office and support school attendance, we wish to appoint a well-qualified, capable, enthusiastic and highly motivated Admin & Attendance Officer to work as part of our administrative team.
The successful candidate will have the relevant skills and attributes:
To provide efficient and effective administrative support in the school office
To support the achievement of high levels of pupil attendance
To support with the administration of Preschool
To be an ambassador for the school when meeting parents and other visitors and to act as a first point of reference when people arrive
To contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school and meeting the needs of the children
