Working hours: 20hours per week, term time time only plus Inset days.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 08.30 - 12.30

About this role
The Attendance Ambassador will be required to carry out routine duties to ensure that daily attendance is correctly recorded . You will play a crucial role in supporting Senior Leaders, Heads of Year and the Pastoral Team to record and improve the attendance of students and make sure our safeguarding duties are fulfilled, through the provision of high quality administration.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring complete and accurate records of absence requests and appointments are maintained.
- Following up on any missing registers with teaching staff.
- Notifying any vulnerable student absence through the appropriate channels.
- Liaising with pastoral staff regarding any concerns over student absence.
- Contacting parents/ carers regarding student absence in a caring and sensitive manner
-Input of Alternative Education attendance to the SIMs database
- Preparing and emailing letters to parents regarding student absence or lateness.
- Preparing and distributing emails, letters and other correspondence to tutors and tutees.
- Providing data and attendance reports for SLT & Heads of Year.

The successful applicant will have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrate a professional manner and understand the confidential and sensitive nature of this role. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and manage own workload are all key requirements for this role.
