As an Admissions and
Attendance Officer, you will play a critical role in our school's enrolment and
attendance management. This multifaceted position encompasses overseeing
admissions, managing attendance records, and ensuring compliance with
attendance policies.
Key
Responsibilities:
Admissions Management:
· Review and process admissions applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted and deadlines are met.
· Provide prospective students and families with information about admission requirements, programs, and the application process.
· First point of contact for admissions.
Attendance Monitoring:
· Monitor daily attendance records, track student attendance patterns, and identify trends.
· Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure accurate attendance reporting.
· Collaborate with parents and guardians to address attendance concerns and provide support as needed.
Data Management:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions and attendance records and databases.
· Generate reports on admissions and attendance statistics, helping make data-driven decisions.
Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with attendance policies and regulations, implementing necessary interventions when students fall below attendance standards.
· Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities to meet reporting requirements.
Communication:
· Act as a point of contact for admissions and attendance-related inquiries, both from internal and external stakeholders.
· Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and students regarding attendance matters.
· Hosting school tours
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in admissions, enrolment, or attendance management.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficiency in using admissions and attendance software and databases.
· Commitment to the mission and values of Glebe Farm School.
· Ability to remain professional at all times.
· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality when dealing with parents and potential applicants.
Glebe Farm School is a new purpose-built all-through school, located in the new development of Glebe Farm. The school will have 1569 students when at full capacity.
