Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values diversity, encourages collaboration, and celebrates excellence? We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance & Admissions Officer to join our team here at Parkwood E-ACT Academy. The purpose of this role is to support the Academy to ensure attendance strategies are effectively implemented.


Key responsibilities


  • Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
  • Answer and record first day phone calls
  • Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
  • Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
  • Follow up on any missing registration marks


Pay range


SCP20-25 (£26,646.05 - £29,855.43 - FTE: £30,296 - £33,945)

37 hours per week, 45.861 weeks per year


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of attendance systems
  • Knowledge of statutory responsibilities relating to school attendance including parental responsibilities
  • Ability to act on own initiative dealing with any unexpected problems that may arise
