What skills and experience we're looking for

Good standard of reading and writing (especially competence in spelling skills) – clear and legible writing

Able to use a range of office equipment (e.g. printers, photocopiers, fax).

Ability to relate well to children and adults

Middleton St Mary's is a large Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School based in South Leeds. We serve the Middleton Community with close links to St Mary's Church and Leeds Diocese.
The school is a larger than average primary school with 440 children on roll including 42 children in nursery. The school has 70 staff including.

The majority of our children are White British heritage and the proportion of children known to be eligible for pupil premium funding is much higher than average, 48% with 76% of our children living in the top 10% of deprivation areas and 26% in the top 3% of deprivation areas - Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (IDACI).
