Broad Horizons Education Trust is looking to appoint an Attendance and Alternate Safeguarding Officer at Sprowston Community Academy.

The role involves proactively managing the school’s attendance team, reducing levels of student absence, and promoting excellent standards of attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will work closely with pastoral and teaching staff, as well as with families, to take a support-first approach aimed at removing barriers to attendance, promoting well-being, and safeguarding the welfare of our most vulnerable students.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, hard-working individual with good organisational skills who can work flexibly to meet deadlines.

We are proud of our school and the people who make it an exciting place to learn and grow. Our vision is simple: we want to be the best version of Sprowston Community Academy. We are passionate about providing a high-quality education that supports both pastoral and academic outcomes for young people.

We achieve this by working together with all our stakeholders—students, staff, parents, carers, and our local community—to continuously review what we do and strive for improvement while maintaining a focus on high-quality care and relationships.

For more information about this role, please email recruitment@bhetrust.co.u. We also welcome visits to our school.
