What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and experienced attendance administrator. The attendance champion will provide support to the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in the following areas:

Role Purpose

  • Analysing attendance data to identify key areas of concern
  • Collaborating and communicating with pupils, staff, external professionals, parents and carers to raise and improve attendance
  • Managing resources to minimise and reduce levels of absence
  • Taking appropriate action when persistent absence raises safeguarding concerns
  • Establishing policies to achieve these goals and objectives
  • Monitoring progress towards meeting the school’s attendance goals and objectives.
