Attendance Lead and Family Liaison job summary

We seek to appoint an efficient Attendance Lead & Family Liaison, who will manage all areas of attendance for students within the School. This is predominantly a student facing position and the candidate would be responsible for monitoring and improving pupil attendance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and supporting safeguarding procedures. This role involves working closely with students, families, and staff to promote excellent attendance and address any barriers to school engagement. Ideally, the successful candidate would have previous experience in a school or higher education setting with an in-depth knowledge of a suitable Management Information System.

The successful applicant will be highly organised and methodical, show meticulous attention to detail and possess the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner are essential together with respect for the confidential nature of the work.
