Attendance Manager job summary
The Abbey School is looking to appoint a full-time Attendance Manager to undertake all administrative tasks associated with the recording, management and monitoring of attendance; working with pupils and their families to improve attendance.
You will be highly efficient individual with outstanding attention to detail. This is a challenging role that will bring many rewards directly supporting the Deputy Headteacher for Pastroral, as well as working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Director of Behaviour and Heads of Year.
The ideal candidate will need to be well-organised and have a flexible approach to tasks. Specific training on the school systems will be provided. You will need to be resilient under pressure and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Requirements (but not prohibitive to making an application):
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Experience of managing and utilising Bromcom or another education
management information system.
• A proven track record of working with outside agencies.
• Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills.
• GCE or level 3 BTEC qualifications and a minimum of GCSE English
and Mathematics at C Grade (or equivalent).
