YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • To record and report on pupil attendance and punctuality.
  • Support effective communication between school and families in relation to attendance issues.
  • Ensure all students’ attendance is monitored daily and take relevant actions to raise and highlight levels of attendance across the year groups.
  • To support pupils and families in raising attendance at school and providing timely and effective interventions to Persistence absenteeism and Serious Absenteeism.
  • Ensure that contact with a wide range of people is friendly, supportive and professional, and that complex queries and potential conflict situations are well-handled.
