ABOUT THE ROLE

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher for September 2024. You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or a newly qualified teacher. You must be able to teach Science up to KS4 with the ability to Biology up to KS5 and/or Psychology up to KS5.

ABOUT YOU

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer starting in June 2024.

You will work closely with the Education Welfare Officer to provide effective attendance management which includes taking accurate registers, monitoring late students and contacting home if students are not present in school. You will also complete attendance trackers and produce weekly reports and statistics. Normal working hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm. It is expected that you would be available to support certain meetings outside of these hours by agreement in advance for which time off in lieu will be accrued. There are also INSET training days and TWILIGHT evenings throughout the academic year which you are expected to attend.

You will have experience of working in a school as an Attendance Officer or similar. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are an essential part of the role to be able to deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies. You will be expected to manage your own workload and prioritise work appropriately.
