- Work alongside the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion) and PSAs to ensure that children are at school
- Manage admissions and transitions of information to other schools
- Lead attendance monitoring, first‑day calling and record‑keeping
- Develop strategies with families to improve attendance — including holding challenging conversations
- Prepare paperwork where attendance concerns escalate to legal action alongside the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion)
- Carry out home visits (UK licence + own vehicle required)
- Complete routine admin tasks including Word, Excel, MIS and county reporting (CME)
- Attend county attendance meetings and implement actions
What We’re Looking For

- Highly organised with strong administrative and data skills
- Excellent communication and a calm, friendly approach
- Confident working independently and reporting to leadership
- Emotionally resilient, professional and safeguarding‑minded
Desirable
- 1+ year experience in school admissions/attendance
- Strong MIS system knowledge within a school
Why Lakenham?
- A warm, diverse, community‑centred primary school
- Supportive, experienced leadership
- Collaborative staff who care deeply about children and families
- Easily accessible by public transport + onsite parking
