Attendance Officer

Pay Scale: H6 (SCP 14 – 19) £27,334 - £29,777 paid pro-rata for hours and weeks worked depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

Weeks: 38 weeks term time only 0.7910834 FTE (Inset Days as required)

Actual salary: £21,623.48 - £23,556.09 (includes holiday entitlement)

We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our talented support staff team. The Attendance Improvement Officer will manage and improve attendance for specified student caseloads led by AAT Attendance Lead and Assistant Headteacher.

Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with a wide range of people

Resilient, able to challenge and demonstrate empathy.

A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a very busy environment.

Good IT skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel

Capacity to be trained in using school MIS system (Bromcom) if no prior experience

Ability to raise concerns with senior staff

Ability to work with minimal supervision under pressure and as part of a team

The ability to maintain confidentiality
